We've had a slow start to Spring this year, every time the weather improves it seems to go back to winter again - ahh Spring in Melbourne! Just like the old days. Who said it would never rain again?!
We have full stock of Spring-Summer flower and vegetable seedlings at the moment with top ups from suppliers virtually daily. You won't believe the variety of tomatoes, capsicum, chillies, lettuces and cucumbers we have plus all the regular summer crops as well.
Bloomer Pots are now stocked in the thousands so you can pick up any quantity you need to give insant colour to your garden for that special occasion, or just to enjoy.
Rainfall is about 10 per cent higher than what we had at this time last year and consequently our water catchments are about twenty percent of capacity higher than this time last year! The last eighteen months of higher rainfall is finally making a major impact on dam levels, the Thomson Dam is over 50% full for the first time in years too! Who would have thought.....

PLANT OF THE MONTH - PETUNIAS |

Petunias are now in large supply and we have lots of different varieties and colours. There are varieties suitable for ground cover or hanging baskets, garden beds and pots.
They love full sun and will flower right through the summer.
We have the latest perennial trailing varieties like raspberry blast or the new unusual colour variety called bumble bee.
Petunias can be purchased in punnets, small bloomer pots and larger fully established plants. |
